I feel very privileged to be your Pastor and Shepherd here at Immaculate Conception. Though I grew up in Jefferson City, Immaculate Conception Parish has made it "home" for me in a whole new way. I have found in "I.C." parish a spirit (Spirit!) of warmth and welcome, a feel of family.
Our parish is named in honor of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, the mother of God. Mary was conceived without original sin and, in her role as mentor and mother, she seeks to bring us closer to Jesus who is always the center and purpose of any parish, including ours. Nobody wants to bring us closer to Jesus more than Mary. She told the servants at the wedding at Cana to "do what He tells you." Good words for us to heed as well.
